Song For The Sea
Released in 2011
This album is a collection of songs that were written in Ireland and recorded in a hotel room in Rome, Italy by Farrell Spence and Neapolitan guitarist Francesco Forni. Spence and Forni were seeking to create a project with a natural and organic tone, free of over-production and cliché. They wanted to capture the spontaneous moments, the ‘sound of the room’, and provide a level of intimacy for the listener that can only be achieved in recordings like these.
